We often get asked to investigate things that are not relevant to our role as independent financial and mortgage advisers so have published here our terms of business. IMPORTANT – You or your agents should not send any further correspondence unless you wish to enter a binding contract for our services and agree to pay the relevant charges laid out as follows.
By contacting us to investigate and reply to a specific enquiry in the first instance you will receive a response alerting you to these terms and conditions. By sending further correspondence (from you, your agents or by anyone on your behalf), it will be assumed you want to enter a contract for our services and deemed that you have accepted in full our terms and conditions. You will immediately enter a binding contract for our services and will be required to pay the following charges:
- For reply to written correspondence. We charge £250 per piece of correspondence received. This includes by any format such as postal letters, emails or any form of electronic message.
- For a phone call, we charge £400 per hour, charged per 15 minutes or part thereof. For example, a phone call of 20 minutes will cost £200. £100 for the first 15 minutes and £100 for the part of the next 15 minutes.
Although by entering an enforceable contract with us, we have no liability to provide any information or reply other than our standard responses and invoices unless and until we have received full payment. Upon you entering a contact with us, we will issue an invoice and it will need to be paid before we investigate and make a reply.
These terms and conditions are designed to allow us to recover reasonable costs in providing a full investigation plus maintaining our letter box, our email servers, anti-virus scanning software and the actual work involved by our team.
