After all we keep banging on about the population getting older!
As regulated financial advisers, the first thing we check is that the investments are regulated and covered by the Financial Services Authority. These are not! Therefore, no matter what “commissions or back handers” they may offer (PS: the only person that ever pays us is you!) and therefore we would steer you well clear!
Essentially how does this work? These are private limited companies that are making these “guarantees” with no insurance backing. You give them your hard-earned money and they then cease trading and the hard part of getting your “guaranteed money back” begins.
