I know we constantly bang on about it but – pension scammers are scum bags that pillage the life savings of innocent hard-working people on a daily basis but…it seems the tide may be turning! Since the summer of 2018, the Government has been running campaigns (including TV adverts) warning people not to “let a con-man enjoy their retirement!” and finally (hopefully), it seems to be working.
The latest research shows that the number of people visiting the government approved “Smartscam” website grew by a monster 462% which represents an average of 3,145 per day or 1 person every 27 seconds!
Please, please, please remember.. If you have a pension, you could be scammed so its vital you always do your research.
